Community-Based Emotional Wellbeing
Strengthening access to peer support, psychological first aid, and structured healing circles delivered by trained Community Mental Health Workers within safe, confidential boundaries.
Delivering our mission through community-driven interventions structured directly around the MIARE³ Framework.
We deliver our mission through integrated programming structured around three mutually reinforcing pillars: Renewal, Rebirth, and Regeneration. By addressing individual emotional needs alongside community norms and system structures, we build lasting environments of safety, dignity, and agency.
Delivering community-based social healing and emotional wellbeing across three integrated pillars.
Pillar 1
Accessible emotional care, supportive relationships, and dignified recovery close to where women live.
Strengthening access to peer support, psychological first aid, and structured healing circles delivered by trained Community Mental Health Workers within safe, confidential boundaries.
Bringing respectful support closer to mothers through tailored interventions:
Mothers Healing Circles: Structured, healing-centred group peer support spaces for pregnant and postpartum women.
MamaCare: Maternal wellbeing capacity building for Community Health Promoters (CHPs).
Offering safe, confidential, trauma-informed recovery for survivors of violence, maintaining rigorous Sexual Exploitation, Abuse, and Harassment (SEAH) risk mitigation and specialist referral pathways.
Pillar 2
Shared spaces for reflection, belonging, participation, and collective change.
Facilitating community dialogues, healing circles for diverse groups, and participatory reflection to challenge harmful gender norms and structural barriers to wellbeing.
At the climate–mental health nexus, this work advances health equity by centering women and girls affected by climate disruption, exclusion, and unequal access to support.
Building women's groups, leadership skills, and community accountability mechanisms to ensure meaningful participation in decisions affecting their lives.
Pillar 3
Practical capacity and coordinated care pathways that make support last.
Training frontline providers while implementing robust systems for supervision, reflection, self-care, safeguarding, and institutional improvement planning.
Connecting community spaces with local health facilities to ensure timely, coordinated, and ethical care continuums across formal and community systems.
Across all areas of our work, MIARE applies prevention, safeguarding, and do-no-harm principles to ensure every intervention is safe, ethical, accountable, and sustainable for the communities we serve.
Partner with MIARE to expand accessible wellbeing, social healing, and structural change for women and girls.
